Join the Fight Against Hunger: Volunteer with Feed My Starving Children!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community? Consider volunteering with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a remarkable Christian nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger across the globe!

What is Feed My Starving Children?

Founded in 1987 by Richard Profit, FMSC produces nutritious meals specifically designed to combat malnutrition in children. Their signature meal, MannaPack, consists of a balanced blend of vitamins, rice, and other essential nutrients. Over the years, FMSC has expanded its reach, providing meals to families in need in over 70 countries. With more than 99% of meals safely reaching their destinations, you can be confident that your contributions make a real impact!

Why Volunteer?

Every year, FMSC aims to pack 2 to 3 million meals, and they can’t do it without your help! Volunteering at FMSC is not only a chance to support a great cause, but it also offers a fulfilling experience. You’ll work alongside fellow volunteers, all united by a common goal: to make a difference in the lives of starving children.

What to Expect When You Volunteer

Ready to jump in? Here’s a quick rundown of what your volunteer experience will look like:

1. Sign In: Start by checking in and getting ready to make a difference!
2. Safety First: Protect your hair with a net, watch a brief instructional video, and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.
3. Get to Work: You’ll be assigned to a table where you’ll help pack meals. Tasks include pouring food into funnels, weighing the contents, sealing bags, and boxing them up.
4. Wrap-Up: At the end of your session, you’ll clean your workspace and have the option to join in a group prayer or relax before the final meeting, where you’ll hear about the total meals packed.

My Personal Experience

After volunteering for seven sessions, each lasting an hour and 45 minutes, I can confidently say that the experience has been incredibly rewarding. Knowing that my time contributes to feeding children around the world fills me with joy. I can’t wait to return and continue my efforts!

How to Get Involved

Whether you’re looking to volunteer solo, with family, or with friends, FMSC welcomes everyone. It’s a chance to come together for a common cause and make a real difference in the lives of those in need.

Ready to change lives? Sign up to volunteer with Feed My Starving Children today! Together, we can help feed starving children and create a brighter future for all.
